Cholesterol Is A Silent Killer!

Right now, even if you know you have high cholesterol, you are probably feeling fine. That's why high cholesterol is called the “silent killer” -- because there is nothing to warn you of its dangers. High cholesterol can quietly clog your arteries, block the flow of blood to your heart, and -- without any warning -- cause strokes and heart attacks.

Stories of loved ones who have battled these terrible personal tragedies may be haunting you as you begin to think about how high cholesterol might be slowly damaging your own body.

If you are searching for a miracle that will lower your cholesterol, quickly, easily, and inexpensively, your search is over!

You could make a very smart choice by purchasing the Cholesterol Secrets Report  -- 56 pages of critically-important cholesterol-lowering information, including 17 revolutionary ways to lower your cholesterol, naturally, so that you feel healthy again, within just a few days!  PLEASE NOTE:  This is a new report!

When you get your copy of the report, you'll find out exactly what you need to do to lower your cholesterol in a number of easy-to-follow steps.

When a patient without heart disease is first diagnosed with elevated blood cholesterol, doctors often prescribe a program of diet, exercise, and weight loss to bring levels down. National Cholesterol Education Program guidelines suggest at least a six-month program of reduced dietary saturated fat and cholesterol, together with physical activity and weight control, as the primary treatment before resorting to drug therapy.

A 1998 Columbia University study examined 103 male and female patients of diverse ages and ethnic backgrounds and found that reducing dietary saturated fat directly affected blood cholesterol. For every 1 percent drop in saturated fat, the study showed a 1 percent lowering of LDL in patients.

But sometimes diet and exercise alone are not enough to reduce cholesterol to goal levels. Perhaps a patient is genetically predisposed to high blood cholesterol. In these cases, doctors often prescribe drugs. The National Cholesterol Education Program estimates that as many as 9 million Americans take some form of cholesterol-lowering drug therapy.

"Some drugs have had a fantastic impact on cholesterol treatment," says Redonda Miller, M.D., assistant professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

However, if you've watched the news lately, you know about the dangers some drugs present -- which is why many drugs are being banned by the FDA... and you never know which drug will be the next drug to be banned.

The potential for drug interaction is a crucial concern, says FDA's David Orloff, M.D. "Some statin drugs are known to interact adversely with other drugs."

Reflecting on his own experience with elevated cholesterol, heart patient Norbert Hoffmann, 65, of Northfield, Minn., says, "Get informed [about cholesterol]. Read books, search the Internet, look at your risk factors, and, most of all, don't wait to do something about it if you have a [cholesterol] problem."
