Did you ever have a toothache. Well. below are a few home remedies that you can use to soothe the pain.
1) try a dried clove rubbed on to the gum around an aching tooth will help soothe it. Try chewing a clove over the toothache for instant relief, or put fresh peppermint into the tooth. In Germany, dentists use a clove-based anaesthetic to eradicate the pain of toothache.
2) the use of asafoetida has been found useful in curing a toothache. It should be pestled in lemon Juice and slightly heated. A cotton swab should be soaked in this lotion and placed in the cavity of the tooth. It will relieve pain quickly.
3) Native Americans used to apply the root of the willow as a poultice for a toothache.
4) you could make a mouthwash of vinegar and salt to ease the pain.
5) you could apply ground black pepper and fresh ginger to a piece of gauze and pack the tooth with it.
6) if you're not worried about being antisocial, you could plug a cavity with cotton wool soaked in onion or garlic juice. It will disinfect the whole area and give some relief from the pain.
7) if the above doesn't relieve your toothache, try putting a slice of lightly boiled apple between the teeth to help to relieve the pain of toothache.
8) chew a ginger piece slowly with the toothache/teeth next to the aching tooth to release its juice and leave there for half an hour. Repeat 2-3 times.
9) before heading out to the dentist, gargle with Listerine Antiseptic.
