Herbs For Hair Loss

Herbs hold an obvious appeal for many people because they support the body's natural healing mechanisms to target the cause of the problem, as opposed to merely tackling the symptoms. It would be wrong to present herbal hair loss remedies as a miracle solution for all sufferers - there is however growing evidence to support the view that some herbal remedies offer real hope to many people. Green tea - it is thought that catechins found in green tea may inhibit the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase that converts testosterone into hair-unfriendly DHT. It is therefore believed to be effective in preventing and treating male pattern type baldness. You should drink several cups of green tea each day or take it in capsule form. When people think of hair loss, most often they think of men. However, women lose hair also. Women most often lose hair due to hormonal changes such as giving birth, etc. However, hormonal changes are not the only cause of hair loss in women. In fact, hair loss in women is relatively common and more of these women are choosing to prevent hair loss by purchasing products that help prevent and/or treat hair loss. In addition to the herbs mentioned above, I might suggest that women try the following receipe which has been found to be an excellent all-natural recipe to promote healthy hair growth: Simply mix a tablespoon each of lavender, sage, rosemary and parsley with four ounces of castille soap and one quart of distilled water. If you have dry or brittle hair, you can also add two drops of almond oil. Another easy program to treat hair loss in women, believe it or not, is brushing your hair at least 100 strokes each day with a boar bristle brush. It is to be noted, however, that hair loss in men is generally socially acceptable, whereas in women, it is not socially acceptable. Thus, for anyone losing hair, I suggest that you give the Provillus Hair Regrowth System for both men and women a try. It now comes with a topical solution containing the only FDA-approved ingredient clically proven to re-grow hair! |
